Ice-cream buffet session over one of the weekend with sisters in Singapore followed by my own self-camwhoring pictures and varieties of ice-cream served.

We purchased S$15 per pax from one of the voucher website in singapore. The initial buffet supposed to be S$30 per pax. I am glad that we only spend S$15 instead because i am full after 3rd round. As in first two round was 3 scoops of ice-cream each time and the last round was waffle ice-cream.

The ice-cream served was average taste only but it served varieties that perhaps satisfied the visual desires then :)

Momiji Japanese Buffet

Pardon of the photo quality. Been using iphone to take photos recently and it is so convenient. By the way my nikon camera is down and owner is broke to buy a new one. So my iphone = my camera now :)

My new colleagues are very random on last Monday. They suggested to go for dinner after work to have my early birthday celebration. They know i am not available on other weekdays. Thus, monday is the best timing for all of us. So, one of my colleague suggested an affordable japanese buffet named Momiji @ Farrer Park station. The restaurant is located inside the City Square Mall at the top level.

The place only occupied by not more than 10 tables that night. The varieties are not as many as Kuishin-Bo or international buffet but the quality of the foods are still acceptable. Their salmon sashimi is fresh and i love having it over and over again. They have different ways of presenting their foods. Their teppanyaki for beef and chicken taste awesome. They served fresh oysters too and it is unlimited flow!! The oysters come with the mentai topping and superb awesome when u have it at the same time.

However the fried items are not in good quality. The salmon skin totally taste horrible. So is the onion ring so we decided not to attack the fried items :p

Chocolate fondue is available as well. It is a sweet tooth for dessert lovers. They served mochi and cakes as well.

Unlimited green mussels but i don't like it. My colleague attacked the whole plate.

The scallop is quite big size and taste nice as well. It blends well with the sauce.

Ice-creams and we have it with the double chocolate from the fondue :)

The buffet dinner is only S$25.90++. I think it is worth for value and definitely will go again next time for it's value.

Bonding v Cous @ Coca Suki Restaurant

It has been almost 1 year since we last gather together. My sisters are currently in singapore and we able to have bonding time with cousins together. Liane suggested Coca Suki restaurant located at Takashimaya, Orchard.Thus, we had our steamboat there. It comes with the basic sets followed by our ordering through the menu list on the table.

We can change our soup base to tom yam although we started off with the base soup provided we clear off the ingredients in it.

We can even order oysters, flower crab and prawn unlimited. The oysters are very fresh. The crabs are sweet too. The foods are fresh but not special.I will not go there if there is no discount or voucher as it is quite pricey for me. You can check the price here.

It seems like yesterday we are playing childhood games and now we are sitting on the table talking about relationships, future thinking and serious talk. Time flies!!

Mariott Buffet aka Farewell Dinner

Last Thursday was my farewell dinner and hueyling as well. My ex- colleagues have arranged the dinner at Mariott Hotel. We have 20pax and lucky for us that one of the colleague has a friend working there and we managed to get 50 % for the buffet price.

Some of the random foods that i took. There has many varieties of appetizer and salads to choose. I like the fresh oyster especially. The fresh crayfish is very juicy and meaty as well. Same as Kuishin-bo.I miss kuishin-bo now..

Mariott buffet has speciality drunken prawn. Too bad i can't eat prawn but my colleagues commented that the soup is tasty and the prawn size is big and juicy as well..

Own recipe of desserts that Jenny created herself. Soursop with jellys,mango,peach etc.

The lamb shank is tender and juicy as well. I love the taste of the meat and it's very appetizing.
