How i spend my xmas eve?

Woei Ling came to SG to celebrate xmas. So, we had arranged to meet up on xmas eve. Lucky for me that i only need to work til 1pm and off i go to Boon Lay-Jurong Point to meet her. I had decided to bring her to try japanese teppanyaki at one of the outlet, Yaki-yaki Bo. There is a huge crowd @ Jurong Point. I guess it's because of the festive season and the new phase has opened. Damn crowded need to squeeze here and there to get to the place.

Enough of the mumbles, take a look at the foods that we ordered on that day.Certaintly will make u crazy over it..lolz (sound exaggerating huh?)hehe

Scallop cooked freshly and placed on the bread. I like the scallop..

Here we have the wagyu beef sliced placed on the bread- bean sprout on your left & japanese tofu on your right. All are cooked in teppanyaki style..Taste delicious. The beef is slice to 2mm thickness and it taste simply delicious when u put it into your mouth and it when it is jz cooked..

Ordered Chicken Teppanyaki set as well. The chicken taste nice with the teriyaki sauce

We have garlic rice to go v it and also takoyaki ball for the ala carte

Then something interesting here. They have our chawanmushi which is cooked nicely in front of us!something new,right?They are creative enough to use the onion as the cup to hold the steamed egg. The taste is totally different from those u ate in japanese restaurant. The fragrance of the steamed egg is tremendously wonderful..

P/S: Had whole day spring cleaning but only done with one room..but at least look tidy a bit..lolz.Holiday mood now..

Had a successful gathering yesterday. Almost everyone turned up earlier which is unexpected. haha!This is because based on previous incidents, the guys will turn out late but this time everyone is punctual on time. The reservation was at 6.30pm but we went in at 6pm instead and we started our buffet. So we have 16ppl in the end (i felt proud as well because after doing all the coordination job, the result is here in front of my eyes).haha! Self-praised myself.. Started taking photos after the dinner. Didn't eat much because kinda sick of the food there dy. Keep looking at it almost everyday.. ^_^!!!

We have 16ppl and the bill per person is $46.95 per pax for the japanese buffet. Luckily i got the staff $10 voucher but does not really help much also because it is still expensive and i didn't eat much.haha!Anyway,pay for the ambience & the place...

Oh ya..Ju gave me birthday present. So sweet-got my 1st ever b'day present now. Touched by the sincerity & the thoughts not only Ju but Eddie & SSC as well. THey are my best buddies..

Too bad Michelle did not join us for the second round. So, we took MRT back to my sg house & started to play game called 'Muffian'. But i keep calling it Muffin. Dun u think it is alike?haha!Perhaps after a few drops of wine v beer, i kinda blur dy.

The worst part of the game is that the drinks are mix with miso+chili+peanut butter+ wine+beer.Sound disgusting rite?The creation from 3ddi3. This is the punishment drink.Yuckss...

We went to Mamak Stall nearby and everyone seems like very steam dy.coz it's like late 3am and we are still mingle around here and there aimless.haha!SSC lead us to the mamak stall. I was quite surprise there is one 24hrs in Sg.haha!First time & i tried their maggi goreng. I still miss M'sia maggi goreng. Much more nicer & not salty as the one here..Share it with CM.

We ended the gathering around 4 plus and individually took cab back from Toa Payoh. AS for SHeau Ying, she stayed until the first bus 5.15am and straightaway back to KT. We had a short chat while waiting for the time to pass.

Quite memorable gathering and everyone seems looks the same and the conversation is still back to secondary school style...Shall have the next gathering year 2009 but hope the organizer will not be me again... hope so... :)

p/S: my house TV finally working-signed up STARHUB again & i hv to pay additional $$.All is $$...Buck up!! Alternative ways...Any ideas???

Had a very busy week last week with the outlets opening in Jurong Point. Many problems keep on prop out continuos til yesteray. Anyway, long story to talk about since this is the workload that i need to hold..Kennedy-san (area manager) who handles the jurong outlets (5 in 1) had invited our office staffs for the dry run yesterday noon. So, we started to eat from 1pm til 7pm..we went to Kuishin-Bo (first stop) and had my favourite sashimi & zuwai kani (snow crab)..

Next stop is Menichi Jurong Point (Ramen). The space is limited to 20plus ppl. We tried the ramen.Chasu ramen & Spicy ramen. THe soup taste nice because the ingredients are imported from Japan. Took some pictures which you can see later part.and most importantly we took many pictures..haha!

Then we went to Yaki Yaki Bo (Teppan) outlet. The sirloin & the tenderloin is super delicious. THe chef shows his display skills in front of us (some sort of one man show skill). We ordered Asahi Beer , Hot sake & lime juice. I drank 2 glass of asahi beer.the scallop is also very Q when you put in your mouth..We had fry banana with ice-cream. It's very innovative to cook the banana & put the vanilla ice-cream melted on top on the teppan fry plate..the taste of sweetness,coldness, hotness all in one..@#$#^% (hard to describe the taste). U gonna taste yourself...

Then we have Ichiban Sushi as well but since this is the existing outlet concept so we did not go in and eat. We have Kuriya Fresh Market where we have shelf display selling confectionary & fresh fish from Japan..

The main entrance was the MAIN attraction for customers. Everyone busy taking photos as if we were in JAPAN..haha!Sound so weird huh? We finished our dry run at 7pm which is supposed to be at 3.30pm.haha! Took mrt back to Toa Payoh with Yeehui & some gossips while we r in the train..typical ladies "kua zhang"(exagarating). Haha!!
