龙润茶 LongRun Tea @ Marina Square

Spend my friday night at LongRun Tea @ Marina Square. It was recommended by sis's bf. Totally unaware that there is a tea restaurant in city area. Not being offensive but not everyone knows how to appreciate chinese tea. So do I.hehe!

My colleague is a tea lover and told her about this place. She decided not to OT and joined me to meet my sister after work. We reached around 9plus and it was last order before 9.30pm. We ordered some foods for dinner and of course the tea.

Random snaps of the interior design of it and each table provides a tea sets. It was a quiet and peaceful place where you can laze around and enjoy your readings with tea. The whole night was very quiet and seems like it was booked by us (basically 4 of us only). But sis's bf said it was fully booked when he came during noon time. Definitely will drop by again if i have the time. It's a perfect place to laze around enjoying the tea.

All kinds of tea leaves with labeling on it.

My colleague, Yunita and I shared a main course.
We ordered chicken roulade baked rice S$9.00 per serving. It's basically chicken stuffed with mushroom and bacon in baked rice with mozzarella cheese. Served in good condition and the taste is nice as well. It's basically has the similar taste when you go for Hong Kong cafe. No much of expectation from it.

The highlight is the tea itself.
I ordered Osmanthus Pu-erh Tea S$5.00 and it's refillable.
The menu describe in details of each tea's function. Osmanthus can help to improve skin complexion due to lack of concentration. It also helps to cleanse the body of excess nitric oxide. There are more information stated in the menu. I just named some of it only.

Yunita has the Honey lemon Pu-erh Tea S$5.00 and it's refillable as well. Honey contains a variety of vitamins and minerals. Commonly honey contains vitamin C, calcium and iron. Honey also serves as anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. The honey was served separately as it's based on customer's sweetness level to go with the tea.

The staff was friendly and polite. She taught us how to drink tea in a correct way and served us well. She always brings her smile well. Each set of tea that we ordered served 3 different type of snacks to go with. It was quite thoughtful and perfect way to snack while appreciating the tea of art.

They also served western desserts which i think not ideal for a tea house. The culture is totally mix up in my point of view though.
Nevertheless the desserts are awfully sinful. I love sweets stuffs especially chocolate because it can cheer me up a bit.

The tea house is located at the first level of Marina Square is quite a corner shop and quite hard for people to notice it. But if you are a tea lover, you should drop by and enjoy the peaceful moments while slowly sip the tea and taste the fragrance of it. The shop also sell tea leaves as you can see from the photo above that there are all kinds of tea pots display on the showcase and also tea leaves along the display showcase.

Headed back home for a rest and headed off to Siloso Beach for event.
Stay tune for the next post!
